Well we knew it was coming when Gerry McCann bad mouthed Colin Myler at the Leveson Inquiry for going to Hello Magazine with their 'story' or so he claimed and Clarence Mitchell is off the hook with regards the ( for those who have followed the case)  fabricated 'Diary' ALWAYS intended to be sold to the highest bidder !

Colin Myler in return for being stabbed in the back ( some may call it misguided loyalty ) becomes the Editor in Chief at The New York Daily.

Ian Edmondson said former editor Colin Myler told him to have a "woolly" conversation with Clarence Mitchell about plans to publish Mrs McCann's diary so he did not know what the paper was planning.

Mr Myler has said he would never have published it if he had realised Mrs McCann was not aware of the paper's plans, and claimed Mr Edmondson told him he had cleared the story with Mr Mitchell. But Mr Edmondson said he was deliberately unclear in his conversation with Mr Mitchell, on the express instructions of Mr Myler.

One of Britain's wealthiest men has won a court order banning an American woman from stalking him on his island estate.

Baron Bruno Schroder, head of the Schroders banking dynasty, went to court to stop Elaine de Coulis trespassing and threatening him and his companion, Baroness Suzanna von Maltzahn.

Baron Schroder, 70, is concerned Miss de Cullis will try to gain access to his mansion, Dunlossit House, in the Hebridean island of Islay, and be threatening or violent.

An interdict against Miss de Coulis was granted at the Court of Session in Edinburgh. The background to the case was not explained.

The baron and baroness said in a statement to the court that they had been sent letters by the woman in which she made false allegations of phone bugging, harassment and vandalism.

"The letters have caused considerable distress and concern and comprise material which is false, scurrilous, intimidating and plainly threatening with the potential implication of physical violence," they stated

Miss de Coulis, formerly of Boxford, Massachusetts, was said to have arrived in Islay last weekend and had displayed an "inappropriate interest" in the couple and in gaining access to Dunlossit House.
