1. Were any gagging clauses included in the arrangement that led to the continued payments to Mr Coulson?

2. Did the continued payments mean Mr Coulson was in regular contact with News International while working for the Conservatives?

3. Did Mr Coulson not see any conflict of interest in receiving payment from both the Conservative party and Rupert Murdoch's media empire?

4. Did the Conservatives ask Mr Coulson whether he was receiving he had any outstanding financial links to News International? If so what he did he say?

5. If Mr Coulson resigned as a way of taking responsibility for illegal activity that happened on his watch then why did he not waive the payments?

7. Did News International continue to pay Mr Coulson's legal costs in the same way they paid Glenn Mulcaire's?

8. Why did News International not "mitigate" the payments to Mr Coulson after he starting receiving a salary from the Conservative party, as is often the case when former employees start new jobs?

9. How would Mr Coulson respond to the claim made by former Royal editor Clive Goodman that phone hacking was "widely discussed in the daily editorial conference until explicit reference to it was banned by the Editor [Andy Coulson]"?

10. Several of the key names in the Goodman letter are redacted. Who are they?

"The decision is perverse in that the actions leading to this criminal charge were carried out with the full knowledge and support of [redacted]. Payment for Glen (sic) Mulcaire's services was arranged by [redacted].

"The decision is inconsistent, because [redacted] and other members of staff were carrying out the same illegal procedures."
