#Murdochs ultimatum to #AMAZON 'Give us Kindle subscriber users or else'

Just googling, MURDOCH threatens Amazon and quite a few interesting articles come up. It would appear Amazon live in fear of Murdoch, he is an evil bully,  so the latest move to have Criminal Profiler Pat Brown's Kindle edition removed may not have been very difficult for him.... Did he also ask for our subscriber names or else ?

Murdoch threatens to break with Kindle

Rupert Murdoch has threatened to block the Wall Street Journal and other News Corp content being sold on the Kindle unless Amazon discloses its subscribers' names. "Kindle treats them as their subscribers, not as ours, and I think that will eventually cause a break with us," Murdoch says. The suggestion is likely to cause outrage among Kindle subscribers who are opposed to their information being shared with publishers or advertisers.

The news follows Murdoch's announcement that all his newspapers will start charging for online content within a year.

The Sunday Times will be the first to trial the system, although Murdoch has not yet decided whether to charge for subscriptions or set up a micropayments system. He revealed the plans after News Corp posted a USD3.4bn loss for the financial year ending June 30.
